UPCOMING SHOWS

High School

Sunday, April 29, 3-5PM • New Rochelle, NY

A return to your fondest—or most harrowing—memories with personal stories about marching band or mean girls, bus rides or best friends, homeroom or home grown. The cafeteria, the pop quiz, the field trip, the school play, the twenty year reunion—we’ll hear about those wonderful and awful days—from algebra to zits. 3:00 PM, Sunday April 29, 2018 • Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library. Made possible with grants from the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library, and suggested minimum donations of $10. A wine and cheese reception will follow the show.

Summer Jobs

Sunday, June 10, 3-5PM • New York City

We’ll hear about our writers’ best or—even better—their worst summer jobs. What life lessons did physical labor, low pay, or an embarrassing costume bestow that summer to all the babysitters, toilet cleaners, burger flippers, dog walkers, camp counselors, pool skimmers, pizza drivers, and lawn mowers? Tentative show date: June 10, 2018. NYC venue to be announced.

Holidays

Sunday, October 21, 3-5PM • New Rochelle, NY

A time to celebrate our cultural traditions, a holiday breaks routines, prompting a three-day weekend in the sun or a three-hour snow delay at the airport. Some holidays are lightweight and fun, others freighted with tradition and obligation. Often a time of high emotion, holidays trigger happy memories or set the stage for family drama. Let’s hear your holiday stories—from sunburn to heartburn. 3:00 PM, Sunday October 21, 2018 • Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library. Made possible with grants from the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library, and suggested minimum donations of $10. A wine and cheese reception will follow the show.
